Our teachers are the finest available in their disciplines. Almost all are involved in our vibrant singer/songwriter community and extremely passionate about music – a passion they’re very willing to share with their students.
We offer lessons in guitar, bass, piano, ukulele, fiddle, and drums.

Dan is an accomplished electric bass player and teaches bass and beginner guitar for us. He performs with a local original music band and has a lifetime of passion for music to draw from.
Dan has endless patience and loves to share his passion for music.
Julia is a classical and operatic soprano and pianist who holds a BFA in Music from York University, and a Master of Music from Western University. She has performed at Roy Thomson Hall, Mississauga Living Arts Centre, and St. James Cathedral. With the Canadian Operatic Arts Academy, she performed roles such as Nerone in L’incoronazione di Poppea, Belinda in Dido and Aeneas, and Blonde in Die Entfhrung aus dem Serail.
Julia holds her Grade 8 RCM Piano certificate and teaches piano.
Natalia is one of our newest teachers. Formerly a student herself, Natalia has played piano for more than ten years, and is currently studying at the Oscar Peterson School in Toronto.
Natalia holds her levels 5-8 RCM Theory Certificates and loves to work with children.
We are completely delighted to have Natalia join us to teach at Aardvark!

Cory is another of our multi-talented artists, and teaches drums and ukulele.
Drums are Cory’s first instrument and run in the family, but he also plays guitar and bass.
Cory has performed regularly with The Justin McDonald Band as well as with a number of other accomplished artists.
